Hello from a newbie! was created by Kat
Hello everyone,

My name is Kathy and I am owned by Everett, a nineteen month old gorgeous deerhound boy. I have been in love with this breed for many years....they stole my heart the first day I stepped foot on the Fernhill property. My first visit there I was lucky enough to see DH's from the wee smalls to the oldies....what a sight to behold to be greeted by these majestic creatures! After exhausting Fernhill with my visits Barb finally gave up and paired me with my beautiful boy Everett :) I am hoping in the near future to have another...Everett needs a playmate that can keep up...and everyone should have two...right?? ;)

Hi Kat, Yes Deerhounds must come in at least 2 if not more. I hope you have lots of fun with your pup.

Hi Kat,
hope you are enjoying your pup, sure you will.
As Pam says they do come in two's.....
A ( long ) while ago I said to Pam that we were going to have a MAXIMUM of 2 Deeries....
We now have 4... we have had 5 at one time... plus a Whippet and a rescue Greyhound....
Pam is planning a litter soon so we will soon be up to 5 again....
We always tell people who want to buy a Deerhound pup from us.....
" The only problem with Deerhounds is that once you have one you will never want to be without one"

We live in Australia with our 4 Deerhounds
