lurec oursing deerhoundSue Rose is hosting a lure coursing event later this year at Kinross, Scotland. Deerhounds will be the main attraction, but any breed is welcome for a try. There is ample parking at the venue, Braehead, Rumbling Bridge, Kinross (click for map).

Sue is holding the event for the fun of it and hopes everybody will have a great day out. There will also be a BBQ (contributions towards this would be much appreciated).

There is no fixed date yet although mid September looks likely. If you are interested and would like to take part in the event, or if you require more information, pleaseuse the contact us form to register your interest - as early as possible.

Why not submit your photograph to the the sleepy hound photo competition? We've already had lots of excellent entries. The winning photo will appear on front page of this very site. Just like the winner of the Cutest Puppy Competition. Submit your photo's into the Sleepy Deerhound Photo Competition Forum.

I'm quite tired after looking at all those sleepy deerhounds. Might have to have a little lie down in a basket...
