Well, here's the team who are supporting our marathon training - from left to right Callie, Sam, Banrigh and Hettie. They're running a lot of the training miles for the final event on 29th April - the first Milton Keynes Marathon. The human team are Rob, Dave and Elise and they need all the support they can get.

We are running in aid of the Brainstrust in memory of Rob and Dave's uncle - Derrick Round who sadly died last year from brain cancer. Brainstrust is a charity that offers practical and emotional help to brain tumour sufferers and their families.  Brainstrust doesn’t get as much press as other cancer charities so we want to do what we can to raise money to help.

If you would be able to donate anything to the Brainstrust please visit this just giving page and wish us luck!

Thanks Joerg and Yoki and Lucy

Yes, it's certainly a project. Will keep you posted as to progress. So far up to 12 miles and a few injuries! Elise

Well, we've done it! We all got round the MK marathon in one piece. The dog support team had helped on numerous training runs in preparation but wisely decided to stay at home on the day as the weather was just awful.

We've raised £1,200 for the Brainstrust which is just great - www.justgiving.com/Dan-Reaney

Thank you for your support. We're all in recovery now.

Here's the route from my runkeeper runkeeper.com/user/ecartm...tivity/84565600

My official time was 4 hours 35 mins. Rob and Dave both came in as predicted ahead of me - well done.

Well done to you all. The weather was so dreadful I wondered if the race might be cancelled. Our thoughts were with you though!

Thanks Ailish. Yes, the weather stayed with heavy rain and strong winds throughout. All the redways were flooded in quite a few places. But it was a great event.
