Wolves at Woburn was created by Teratyke
We live very near to Woburn Safari Park and Lachie and I have an annual pass. Every time we go we see something fantastic, today the Lions walked all around us, which normally can only be seen from a distance. There was also a very nice wolf pup (or is it cub?) here are some pictures...

Fantastic pictures Rob - if it were our pack they would want the meat roasted, covered in gravy and accompanied by spuds and yorkies (oh and the grated mature cheese on top of course). Maybe thats the difference between hounds and wolves ha ha.

Excellent photos Rob! What good fortune being present to see this. I'm wondering the same as Joerg - are you in a car or walking and shooting pics through a fence?

We are in the car. Because we go so often we know which queue to join at the entrance, so we get in first - we are quite often the first car in. We got through and zipped around the zebras, rhinos etc extra quick to get into the wolves and bears long before any other cars got there. One car doesn't seem to bother the animals, but lines of cars certainly do, we went around later in the day and hardly saw a thing. Were were lucky though.
We were also first into the lions, and the whole pride walked right around the car, we've seen them so many times, but I never knew quite how massive they are.

It was very exciting, I checked the windows were up!
The really big ones are castrated males I think.

I squirted them with my washers at West Midlands Safari park and they pulled the washer jets and hose out with their teeth.
