Webcams in Scotland was created by Joerg Yoki
Hello,

I have found in the internet the Cruachan Webcam.

Link to the Cruachan webcame: www.scottishfield.co.uk/webcam/view/7/

Citation from www.scottishfield.co.uk
"Ben Cruachan is the highest point in Argyll and Bute and is part of a ring of mountains known as the Cruachan Horseshoe. The mountain towers 1126m (3694ft), on its main ridge there are 2 peaks ranked as Munros (mountains over 3000ft), Ben Cruachan and Stob Diamh." END

The Argyll and Bute covers the second largest administrative area of any Scottish council. The council area adjoins those of Highland, Perth and Kinross, Stirling and West Dunbartonshire. Its border runs through Loch Lomond.

Hello,

This a link to the the Arran Webcam (pointing towards Brodick pier).
You can see from time to time a ship with the Webcam.

Link: www.scottishfield.co.uk/webcam/view/3/

The Isle of Arran ( Eilean Arainn) is the largest island in the Firth of Clyde, Scotland, and with an area of 432 square kilometres (167 sq mi) is the seventh largest Scottish island.

The Brodick Castle played a prominent part in the island's medieval history. Probably dating from the 13th century, it was captured by English forces during the Wars of Independence before being taken back by Scottish troops in 1307.

The Brodick Castle features on the Royal Bank of Scotland £20 note.

Thanks for the links. Really interesting. I didn't even know the web cams were there. I live on Kintyre, my house looks over the sea to the west side of Arran.

Cruachan is an hour's drive to the north. The power station inside the mountain is well worth a visit.

The mountain is much more impressive today! The picture seems to update every 2 or 3 seconds, but I can only see the waves and the clouds moving around.

WAIT! I've just watched a small white object - possibly a boat move across!!
That's it, I'll have to watch this for the rest of the day now!

You can find lots of webcams by using google maps - here are some more in Scotland...
