Neutering Male Deerhounds 2 weeks 5 days ago #43664

Hi everyone

Please can I have your views on neutering male Deerhounds that live in the same household. Does anyone have two or more intact males living together(what ages) and if so have you experienced any problems between them? Your views/advice would be greatly appreciated.

HI , we have had a neutered male but not in the house with a male only females. He was good with in entire males and it didn't make much difference to his temperament which was good anyway. You might get better advice from a sighthound rescue forum as there will be a lot more people with more than one neutered male and possible experience of one of each? :)

Since the 1980's we've always had 2 intact males as it's good for them to have a friend. Never had any issues with that at all. Deerhounds are generally very laid back with other males. Hope this helps. :)
