Deerhound Fun Day

Right folks - the Deerhound fun day is on the 6th July this year and we need you!

As per usual it will a great day out - Lure racing, games, fastest recall, long jump, food , rosettes, collar stand and a chance to spend a day with like minded Deerhound owners and your dogs to have time with other Deerhounds.

We really do need you and would love to see you there. ALL proceeds go to Greyhound Gap Rescue but more importantly we cannot continue to hold these days with out your support!

We have it in our diary and have asked permission to pass the details on to some greyhound owners. Looking forward to it as we adopted a "Longdog" called Smokey who is half Deerhound, half Greyhound after she came into the care of Grehound Rescue West of England as her elderly owner couldn't look after her anymore. Smokey is 9 yrs old having lived all her life in a second floor flat but she thinks she's a puppy some days running around the garden throwing toys into the air. Such a delight to have her with our two greyhounds!

Of course Smokey is welcome plus anybody /any hounds that you think will enjoy it!

Hi, We'll be there and really looking forward to it. It's a great day out. Finn loves to meet up with his deerhound friends. I hope you don't mind but I have posted the day on my facebook page.

Oooh, I'm coming to this, this looks like my opportunity to come and have a cuddle with as many Deerhounds as I can cram in in one day!!! Feel very sad I cannot bring my darling boy anymore, but this will ease the pain!

Aw, sorry you will be without your lad We would welcombe a raffle prize but more importantly we could really do with some help if you fancied it???

I may well be bringing my 3 year old Grandson, but yes, if we can do anything to help then we sure will.
