In Memoriam 7 years 1 month ago #28247

Here's a photo of my three hounds back in 1999, on the left we have Rufus a deerhound cross who died two years ago aged 17, on the right my first deerhound Dougie, who died in 2001 aged 7, and in the middle Flora who died exactly a year ago this weekend, aged 10. Here we had just been for a wonderful walk down to the southernmost point of the Isle of Skye. I still miss all of these wonderful hounds..

Would anyone else like to remember some past hounds with me? :(

This was my first Deerhound Isabeau. She was PTS due to kidney failure at the age of 9

And this was Dana who died about 9 years ago at the age of 6.5 from a heart attack.

Its scary how young some of these hounds were when they died. I was dissapointed not to get Flora over ten years old, but now I see that I was lucky to have her that long.
