TOPIC: Meet Hamish

Meet Hamish 10 months 2 weeks ago #43484

Meet Hamish 5 years old and at the minute going through the wars, he collapsed on New Year's Day and was taken to vet hospital where one of discs had shot a bit into his spinal cord and paralysed his back leg, as if that wasn't enough he had to have emergency surgery to remove the cystine stones previously posted about. He lives with his little mate Archie and will hopefully be back to normal soon.

Get well soon big boy I have a Border Terrier with disc problem, at least once a year he becomes paralysed and drags his back legs behind him, but it gets better. He's 11 this year and a dear little dog. He doesn't go on many walks now, just incase it goes again and pee's like a puppy but we love him and hope to have many more years with him.

Hi, thanks for your good wishes, did you give your dog physio or does he recover himself, Hamish will walk round our field but he does carry his leg and I don't know if he needs more professional help.
