Hi kim and zoe from wolfcastle were in contact with us about danas they had been in contact with the previous owners offering to take danas back with them and were told that he was staying where he was as there was no problem the next they new was when they were told he was with us. Bougle has settled in really well now and we are no longer having any growls between them they have even all been eating out of the same dish together and no problems he is putting on a bit of weight now and is booked into the groomers on the 16th so he should look a lot better then we will keep updating as things progress

Have been in touch with Zoe from Wolfscastle deerhounds (Bougles breeder) and her and Kim had spoken to Bougles owner a while ago and offered to take Bougle back but was not to be. Zoe has asked me to stress that this is their 1st rehoming of any of their deerhounds. They are understandably upset that this has happened especially as they have lost Lana, Bougle and Murrays mum this week. Kim and Zoe have spoken with Ian (Farnorth) and all has settled down now.

So glad to hear that Bougle is settling in well and putting on weight, always a good sign when they eat from the same bowl!

I just cannot help wondering why on earth they didn't take up Kim and Zoe's offer of taking him back, rather than just advertise him on a website. Also, thank God you took him on and they didn't just let him go to anyone.
What a coincidence that Houndy put you on the right track and he was Murray's litter brother.....small world.

This story reminds me of the tale on here......

Hi yes it is a small world and yes we are delighted to have him we are even more delighted that all three are getting on so well (touch wood) he is such a lovely boy and so easy going i think that has made things all the easier intigrating him into our house,he has now started playing in the garden with bramble but i dont think danas and blue are ready for that yet maybe it is just me being over cautious but better safe than sorry

If they are anything like Murphy, he would move out of the way to let another dog eat his dinner, they have wonderful natures, if we didn't have the terrorist, I would have more, alas Paddy the Pitbull has now got so bad I would not trust bringing another male into the house, though he is ok with neutered ones.

Bougle after his visit to the groomers he is looking far better now no lop sided haircut as the last owners had cut the fur on one side of his head and not the other
