They are both adorable. Looks like Hermione is having a back leg spurt. I was yet again amazed while watching Lockie grow. They grow right before your eyes and in spits and spurts. One day he would be bum high and the next his front would catch up. One day snout would expand, next day his head would catch up. Just amazing.

I love this , too - 2 weeks ago she was only in the rear higher than a Labrador , now the front caught up to this....On the pic she is also standing slightly downhill.

We were at the beach today, grey weather as usual. That little fella is endurant, he still has energy left when the IW and Borzoi are done with.
His tail is almost scary, by now it is significant longer than the tail of my full grown IW, his tail reaches the ground, and there is still some tail left.

He will grow into his tail. Lockie is still full of boundless energy and he is nearly 2 :)

Hermione's tail is eually long and very strong and she can bend it every which way - I read once , that deerhound tails should basically reach the ground when stretched out . She uses her's beautifully - as do my others , whose tails are not as beautiful as her's , too short , one has a little kink in it ( 2 bones fused ) , all are shorter and most are not as strong. Just think of a Cheetah and her tail - they really make good use of / need them when hunting .

Glad you like the photos.

If it all gets too black, a "invert colors" click - most picture handling programes offer that, makes a complete now picture out of it. Here is one of my IW having been inverted.

He is a very cute puppy, I can see that you are as fond of your first DH as I am, I have never had a dog like this. Norbert is outstanding I can't explain but I think you all understands me.
