Hello Shelley,

Thanks for post from the pictures from Phorp´s new dog family in Alberta.

The collar with star from Phorp is very beautiful.

The white/black lurcher Rimsky is very nice also.

I'll PM you the details of Phorp's location in Alberta Cassandra.

Thanks for your nice remarks about the dog collars and tags Jeorg. We ordered the collars from a lady in eastern Canada. Each dog got a puppy size and an adult size collar with matching lead, and an engraved star tag! I find when I have a handful of leads I can tell which dog is at the end of which lead by the colour. Very useful.

Very interesting Shelley.
In how many colors have you leads or how many Deerhounds have you? :)

 Seems I have quite a handful of leads now Jeorg - the colour-coding system is a must! Let's see at the end of purple I'll find Anna, green is Rufus, red is Torrom, silver is Gruim, brown is Gelert, black is Fingal and pink is sweet Maida. :) :P

Thought the idea of breeding a litter was to sell 'em ..not keep 'em... :P

Hello HB,

I think the most breeders have 7 or more dogs. It´s very good,if the breeders keep
the old dogs after the show- and/or breeding time.

The breeders keep oft pups for the continuation from the breeding in future.

How is it by your Ponys?

Regards
Joerg and Yoki dh:)

I hope everyone celebrating Thanksgiving this past weekend had a very good one! Here are some pictures of Phorp, who got to spend his weekend at the famous Jasper Park Lodge in Canada.

Don't worry, none of the pups is allowed to raise so much as a squeak out of her! She is perfectly safe, always. :)

Thanks for your happy thoughts Joerg and Daisymay! I should say that the backside in the photos belongs to my daughter Gillian and not - I regret to say - to me. :) I am enjoying every minute with these puppies. Best thing I ever did besides having my children. Always such fun.
