Wow , you know Vancouver's climate better than I do - I live about 400km kilometers ( and many , many mountain passes ) further east and a bit north , still very warm here - around 5C ; next week they expect 15C in Vancouver , so much for winter olympics .....
Hello Verena,
Thanks for your message.
I think Vancouver (temperature: +15°C/59°F) is the best place for the Summer Olympic games.

Really super photos and story. Yoki is a lovely puppy. I m very envious of your amazing greenhouse - do you keep it heated all the time? Enjoy the spring! Ailish
Hello crackadog,
Many thanks for your friendly message.
We have in the greenhouse 4 electro-heater with in totaal 10 kW heat output.
In last here had we outside record with -26°C ( -14,8 °F) and inside in the Greenhouse
+3°C (37,4 °F) in this time ( We had control in the night by this low temperature)
Normally temperature in the winter inside from Greenhouse are 8 to 12°C ( 46,4 to 53,6 °F) and by sunshine higher.
Best regards

Hello Verena,As it is not much warmer in Vancouver during summer than it is this winter ( the warmest winter in over 100 years ) I am not sure , what kind of Olympics would be fine for this beautiful city - in reality , usually you could go skiing in the morning and than have a swim in the ocean in a normal year , not bad for sportsfans ....
Many thanks for your informations.
Then hope we of lower temperature for the Olympic winter games in Vancouver.
Best regards
