Cough was created by Roughyed
The youngest of our three Deerhounds appears to have picked up a Cough over the last day or so.
We have obtained some antibiotics from the vet which will hopefully help her in the long term but apart from the obvious issue of isolating her from other dogs has anyone got any tips to help make her plight more comfortable in the short term.

As there have been living together until now, the other dogs have allready bacteries or virus. So it is to late to separate them.
If one of the others is getting the same symptoms you can give them the same antibiotique.

Hi Wendy - thanks for your interest.
Our youngsters cough seems to have cleared, but still meant we couldn't show at Midland Counties yesterday, but her mother now sounds like one of the local stags in the rutting field and will no doubt pass on to our elder deerhound during the course fo this week.
The antibiotics certainly seem to act quickly and make life more comfortable for them within 48 hours.
