hairybeasty created the topic: thread links
I recently tried to qoute from one thread and pull it into another thread. But it stayed in the original topic even when I changed the name of the topic to the one that I wanted to post into if that makes sense. To quote Terry Wogan "is it me?"

Hi hairybeasty
No its not you. It doesn't work like that. Changing the topic name doesn't move the post. The way I do this is to go to the post you want to quote from - click quote - copy the text that is generated in your reply, then cancel the post. Go to the thread you want to use the quote in (or start a new thread) click reply then paste in the copied text. add any further message.

For example typing this (using the quote tags)...
[quote]You can use a quote anywhere by adding the quote tags around your text.[/quote]

would produce this...

You can use a quote anywhere by adding the quote tags around your text.

Its easier than I just made it sound. :S
Also I changed the title of the thread - but it only changed it in my message..
Its ok to experiment just put it in off topic and we can always tidy it up later.
