The fosterer did suggest bringing him down to us but I think was advised not to.

It's about two hours at least each way to where he is so can't do repeated intro's but I did think of renting a self catering cottage so we could do it "properly" as well as having a break in Shropshire

I telephoned the contact person after the fostered emailed to say "no go with a multi dog" new home. She agreed that if Charlie hadn't been happy just visiting the chaps friends then she wasn't prepared for Charlie to be introduced to a home with a few dogs.
I did ask someone I know who rehomes lurchers and she said she agreed with Evesham as it's very stressful for a dog to join a pack. Didn't plan on 4 dogs but it sort of happened after we lost Smokey. Nothing more we can do.
