According to the books...the answer is indeed 42...however this answer does not take into account the variability of matter in all given places...so my answer is chocolate..;)

If you insist on taking into account the variability of matter in all given places, then surely, from a pure physics point of view, the only answer can be blancmange.

After much deliberation...I feel the only plausible answer to be "because the higher they fly the much "

Close. I was always led to believe that the answer is because the higher it rises the fewer.

One mole with a sewing machine should be enough or 26.7 moles with very small needles. As for rotundness, I was thinking fat jolly person, due to time of year, but should take in to account the post festive diet which will result in 34% reduction in the rotundness-ness.

Is the answer to Sids question affected by the number of legs the mouse has?

Best of luck with the 0.7 of a mole...
If it was a sugar mouse..then the number spun would depend on the number of legs...and the length of tail..
